It looks like things are moving along for developing POD 18D. These signs are posted along Hyatts, Sawmill Parkway and Clark-Shaw Roads. I have heard rumors that M/I Homes will be developing subareas C and E with single family homes and condos. (Remember that Metro is the developer who was promoting the zoning change). Currently there are 2 public open houses scheduled to view the final development plan, being Friday, July 22 from 11am to 1pm and Tuesday, July 26 from 5pm to 7pm at the Township Hall across from the YMCA. It is our understanding that an architectural review board is being established for POD 18D. I would suggest that if you are interested in serving on this committee, you reach out to Mike Schuiling at the Township.
Subarea C is 30.76 acres. The zoning code allows for a maximum of 75 single-family residential and/or attached homes and patio homes and numerous commercial uses. Subarea E is 102.56 acres. The zoning code allows a maximum of 315 dwelling units that can be single family residential and attached homes plus numerous commercial uses.
